I just got back from my lunch hour @ work, and have to tell you about it!
I had to go back to CVS to get some Nivea ECB’s that didn’t print yesterday, and I decided to get a few things I didn’t have time for yesterday.
My total before sales, coupons and ECB’s would have been $44.16. I walked out paying $3.63 and clinging to $6 in ECB’s, so essentially they paid me $2.37 to shop on my lunchtime. Can you say “Ka-ching”?
Here’s what I “bought” (term used loosely):
- (1) Kellogg’s Corn Pops (Sale $2.50ea)
- (2) Kellogg’s Apple Jacks (Sale $2.50ea)
- (1) Kellogg’s Fruit Loops (Sale $2.50ea)
- (2) 20oz Coke
- (2) Reese’s Pieces individual bags
- (2) Cascade Dishwasher Detergent (Sale 2/$5.97)
- (2) Colgate Total Whitening Gel, 2.7oz (Sale B1G1F)
- (1) Box of Toy Story Valentines w/ Pencils (90% off)
- (1) Box of Pixar Valentines w/ Stickers (90% off)
Total Cost: $44.16 (before sales, coupons and ECB’s)
Used the following coupons:
- (1) $4/20 from RecycleBank (Register for Free HERE)
- (2) $1.50/2 Kellogg’s (3/7 RP)
- (2) Free Reese’s product w/ 20oz Coke (CVS Tearpad)
- (1) $1/1 Colgate Total (4oz or greater, 2/21 SS)
- (1) $1/2 Any Cascade Product (3/7 P&G)
- (1) $8 ECB from Oral-B (3/7)
- (1) $3 ECB from Nivea (3/7)
NEW Total: $3.63 w/ tax (Savings of 92%)!
PLUS $6 in ECB’s ($1 Cascade and $5 Kellogg’s) = They paid me $2.37 to shop at lunch.
What a Deal!!!

Woohoo!!!! I love reading about CVS trips like this. There is a CVS on almost every corner where I live and I'm always in there scoping out the clearance finds. I think the employees think I'm crazy, but I'll shop & be crazy at any store that pays me to shop for free.
